Browse through the narrow streets, including The Shambles and take a well-earned rest at Betty's Tearoom, before calling into York's Designer Outlet to pick up a bargain on the way home!
For those wanting to explore slightly further afield, then the little known Yorkshire Wolds with its rolling hills and valleys, quaint villages and hamlets such as Thixendale and fine historic houses such as Sledmere House should not be missed!
